Therapeutic Research Center is a very stable company with a 24-year track record of success and growth. The staff produces exceptionally high-quality products that are in high demand by physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, medical schools, pharmacies and consumers. The Center is fully accredited by the American Council on Continuing Medical Education, American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education and others to provide continuing medical education credits. Therapeutic Research is located in the upscale Brookside Business Park in Stockton CA, one half hour South of Sacramento.

The new manager will work full-time in our Stockton, CA office (we are not looking for telecommuters right now). The culture is very comfortable, yet professional with a strong emphasis on results. The Client Retention Manager will be responsible for renewals of existing individual client subscriptions. The manager will interact with our product managers, sales team, marketing managers, editors, and technical department. The manager will work to exceed customer expectations. Daily activities include analytics, special client projects, client communications, e-mail campaigns, landing pages, social media, holding webinars, implementing special programs, and monitoring results. A successful person in this position builds business by being well organized, exhibiting exceptional follow-through, and giving clients what they want.


Requirements:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and execute strategies and objectives to increase customer loyalty.
- Communicate with individual clients to meet their needs and solidify future business.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify retention opportunities.
- Proactively identify any clients which may be at risk and develop and execute a retention strategy.
- Select and manage methods used to manage and document customer response, and track inquiries.
- Work with the technology team to design and maintain regularly scheduled reports that track and report renewals, cancellations, and saves.
- Advise management on product issues arising from identified problems.

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in client retention or account management, preferably in an online publishing atmosphere.
- Proven successful track record in meeting and/or exceeding client retention goals.
- Excellent verbal & written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent follow-through.
